May 31st Email.... Travel Papers Arrived !!!!!

Hey Everyone,
This past week has been an exhausting one. We had to move 3 different times as well as bust out 28 lessons for the week. Sunday came and the 3 of us were just spent. Both physically and spiritually. We all struggled keeping our eyes open teaching and visiting people on Sunday. Our investigators are great. Larry's baptism was moved to this Sunday because between the Bishop moving, also he is the one baptizing Larry, and Larry working on Saturday the Bishop wanted to wait one more week. Bill is still good ol' Bill. He's still struggling with the tobacco but we are going to try having some members that have had that problem in the past keep daily contact with him as well as help him overcome it. This past week was the first time I've seen Bill get really frustrated. He's so frustrated with himself and the tobacco because he wants to be a member and have the Holy Ghost so bad and understands he needs to get over it but hasn't quite made it yet. Sarah is progressing quickly. She came to church as well as more activities in the ward and I've been extremely impressed with how well the young adults have been fellowshipping and taking her under their wing. I hope y'all had a great Memorial Day. We went frisbee golfing yesterday and it was pretty entertaining. Studies - A modern prophet once said that the most important word in the dictionary is, “remember”. As a mission we have committed to show Him that we remember by being “Remember This” missionaries. That which we remember, we don’t take for granted. As we pause this Memorial Day and remember the lives of our loved ones who have gone before, and our freedoms that are provided for us at so costly a sacrifice, and our God, whose hands purposely retain the marks to remind us that he always remembers us, let us remember “how great the importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the earth, that they may know that there is no flesh that can dwell in the presence of God, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah…..he shall make intercession for all the children of men; and they that believe in Him shall be saved”
I Love You All,
Elder Salmon
